Notifications, Live Activities, and widgets
Midgame is built to reach you wherever you are, so it is worth spending a minute to set your alert surfaces the way you like.
Push notifications
Alerts arrive as time-sensitive push notifications, grouped by game. Each prediction has a short window, so notifications are designed to reach you while there is still time to act. You can control alerts by sport and by confidence band, set quiet hours, and choose sounds in Settings under Notifications.
Live Activities and Dynamic Island
For Pro users, a Live Activity keeps the score and the latest signal on your lock screen while a game is live, with compact and expanded states in the Dynamic Island. Live Activities update on their own, so you can follow a game without opening the app.
Widgets and StandBy
Add a Midgame widget to your home screen or lock screen to see your latest alert and hit rate at a glance. In StandBy mode, your iPhone can show the same information while charging on its side.
Focus, Siri, and the Action Button
Midgame integrates with Focus filters so you can decide which alerts come through in Work, Sleep, or a custom Focus. It also supports Siri and Shortcuts, Spotlight search for games and teams, and the Action Button on iPhone 15 Pro and later.
If notifications go quiet, check that Midgame is allowed in iOS Settings, that a Focus is not filtering it out, and that no daily cap or cool-down is active.
