Frequently asked questions
Can I place a bet inside Midgame?
No. Midgame is a notification app, not a sportsbook. You never deposit funds or place a wager in the app. When you choose to act on a call, we deep link you to your own sportsbook.
Which sports and leagues are covered?
Midgame follows live games across the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. Free accounts follow one sport, while Pro follows all four.
Why do I need to allow notifications?
Alerts arrive as time-sensitive push notifications, Live Activities, and widgets. Predictions cannot reach you without push permission, so it is the most important step during setup.
What do the confidence bands mean?
Each prediction shows a band of Low, Medium, High, or Very High. Midgame never shows a win probability percentage, so the band is a simple guide rather than a guarantee.
How is my hit rate calculated?
Hit rate is the share of the predictions you marked as Taken that resolved as wins, on a rolling 90-day basis. Marking a call as Taken is a signal for your stats, not a record of a real wager.
Why are there no dollar amounts anywhere?
Midgame never shows bankroll, stakes, or profit and loss. The only personal numbers are your hit rate as a percentage and your streak as a count.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Billing is handled by Apple. Open the App Store, tap your profile, choose Subscriptions, and select Midgame to change or cancel. You keep Pro features until the current period ends.
How do I take a break from alerts?
Open Settings, then Responsible Gambling. You can set a daily alert cap or start a cool-down for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months, or permanently. Support is always available at 1-800-GAMBLER.
